By creating an account or using Pierre, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Pierre.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Pierre. By using Pierre, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information when you create an account
• Keeping your password secure
• All activity that happens under your account

Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You retain ownership of the recipes, photos, notes, and other content you add to Pierre ("Your Content"). By using Pierre, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the service for you.

If you choose to share content publicly (for example, via a public recipe link), you grant us the additional right to display that content to anyone who has the link.

Pierre uses AI to transcribe, structure, and suggest recipes. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsafe. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before relying on it.

Pierre is not a source of medical, dietary, allergen, or food-safety advice. We make no warranties about the accuracy of ingredient lists, cooking times, temperatures, or nutritional information. Always cook safely and consult qualified professionals for dietary or health-related questions.

You agree not to:

• Use Pierre for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, or infringes others' rights
• Attempt to access, scrape, or interfere with parts of Pierre you are not authorized to use
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the service except as permitted by law
• Use Pierre in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the service for others

Pierre, including its name, logo, software, design, and all related materials, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

You may stop using Pierre and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use Pierre in a way that creates risk for us or other users. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

Pierre is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Pierre will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pierre and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to Pierre will not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of Pierre, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Pierre will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in the State of New York, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you. Your continued use of Pierre after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
